V is a young sweetheart of a gelding that came directly off a rural farm, where he worked hard. He first came to us very sore and since going through quarantine, has had the rest to feel much better! This guy hasn't had the nicest of upbringings. He is a total gentleman and always wants to do his best, but he has been treated rough so there are times he can get worried.

V is branded, but he was never fully registered so he does not have a registered name. We were able to get some information on him so we do know his age and pedigree. We decided to call him V for the V in his brand which told us how old he was before we knew anything else about him.

V has been started under saddle and makes great progress. He is easy to ride and makes huge leaps and bounds in his progress with every ride. He is learning that he doesn't have to expect a hand to land heavy and with every day he is treated kindly, he becomes a bigger cuddle-bug and seeks out attention.

Every Standardbred has their unique set of goofy quirks - some like to twirl their heads, others like to stick their tongues out, and even more like to wiggle their lips! Like most Standardbreds, V comes with these wonderful qualities:
