Shirley is a super flashy mare that we at the rescue saw race on the track many times. She immediately caught our eye for her flashy movement and amazing potential as a riding horse. Little did we know, she was getting ready to retire and would land with us soon!

This girl is a total sweetheart, with just the right amount of personality. She loves to be pampered and spoiled! She has the talent to go just about anywhere! She is extremely athletic and loves to work!

Shirley retired from harness racing healthy and sound with no past injuries, she was just done with her time as a race horse. She still enjoys her time as a driving horse, but she is also enjoying riding as well! She is taking to riding super quickly and has even completed an endurance race, which she scored extremely high on!

Shirley has a cute little pace that is very comfy to sit, but she also has a big floaty and flashy trot as well!

Out on trail she has crossed very large bridges, gone in water (she LOVES water!) and ridden both alone and with a small group.
