"Tutti Frutti Rudy" or Rudy is the sweetest three year old Standardbred ever! He is as cool as a cucumber and just the friendliest dude! He's a no-funny-business guy and he will absolutely be the best husband-horse, grandma-horse, kids-horse, put-your-cat-on-horse!

Rudy is also such a funny guy! He's your classic Standardbred that will make you laugh, but also take care of you.

He retired from his race career happy and healthy. He does have a cosmetic blemish on his front left that will never look "normal" but it causes him no pain and is no hindrance to him. He not only passed a soundness exam with our vets, but also has x-rays on file that shows a healthy joint.

Rudy has already broken records here at Lucky 7. He was the fastest Standardbred to be started, with an astounding feat of having his first walk, trot, AND canter within 15 minutes. Oh yeah, and by the 20 minute mark he was already on trail!

Moving forward with his riding, he has continued to impress. He goes with the flow and it's easy to forget that he hasn't been under saddle for years already.

He rides walk, trot, and canter! For a Standardbred, he has a wonderfully natural canter so while he still needs to gain muscle and figure out his balance, he is able to stay in a canter for much longer than off-the-track Standardbreds usually can!

Rudy has been used in lessons successfully and ridden by a handful of different riders without issue. He is one that is going to be a favorite by many and he already is!
