“Quaker Ridge” is a 20 year old Standardbred gelding with a heart of gold! He is the sweetest guy you'll ever meet, and will nicker greetings to you every time he sees you!

This guy has been in rehab with us for a little as we got his teeth taken care of and started the process of getting weight on him. Now he has the all clear to find a home! This guy came directly from working on a rural farm, and was even ridden by a little boy before coming to us. This fella is an absolute blast to ride! He is unfazed by everything thrown at him and is a good reliable gentleman!

Ridgy is a super reliable mount while under saddle. You can hang off of him, ride behind the saddle, ride backwards, and slide off of him and he doesn't bat an eye. He is a willing boy happy to move out when asked, and just as happy to stay at a walk.

Every Standardbred has their unique set of goofy quirks - some like to twirl their heads, others like to stick their tongues out, and even more like to wiggle their lips! Like most Standardbreds, Ridgy comes with these wonderful qualities:
