Percy is an ex-show horse gelding that has been loved and cared for his entire life. He retired from his show career three years ago. He recently found himself needing to be rehomed from his loving family, and he came to Lucky 7 to find the perfect home.

Percy is trained as a show horse and has a cute little movement. He does carry stress from his past career so he needs a confident rider willing to deal with his antsy feet. He tends to be better in an arena, but he does enjoy trail and isn't spooky at all, just a lot more forward and worries about being left alone. He retired from his show career healthy and sound, though he does have some blemishes like a small painless lump on his pastern. Percy does not, however, need to go into a riding home at all. He would be perfectly content being a pasture pet and buddy to another horse for his retirement. He does best with geldings, as he gets protective over mares, but he has been in a mixed herd.

He's such a sweetie and really wants to be loved on! He is a sweet gentleman and great company! He is great for the farrier, has the cutest personality, and gives "old gentleman" vibes.
