Omni

Registered Arabian Gelding

"Halstead's Sultan"

4 yrs old, 15hh

"Halstead's Sultan" or Omni, is a beautiful registered Arabian gelding. The start to his life is a mystery, but he somehow ended up at a goat auction. He was bought buy a man who fed him up and took care of him for a while. As a young horse with minimal handling, it was difficult to find a safe place for Omni to go after getting his weight back up. That's where Lucky 7 Horse Rescue stepped in to add to their Arabian Program.

Omni was then set to go into the 2025 Battle of the Best Training Competition with the rescue. He wasn't initially chosen (there were more horses than there were trainers) but then a last-minute trainer addition swooped in just to work with him.

Omni showed his stuff at the training competition, but needed more time before he could truly be a willing participant in this whole riding idea. He was sent to additional training with trusted trainer Dawson Alme in Alma, WI. He underwent 60 days of training there and made great progress, but still wasn't an easy horse to train. With his history unknown, there are no clear reasons as to why but he is a very head-shy horse and has a history of bucking under saddle.

He was checked for kissing spine and teeth issues and nothing abnormal was found. He is undergoing ulcer treatment before going into a riding regime to keep him in work after sitting for the cold and icy winter months in Minnesota.

Omni shows immense talents and athleticism and will absolutely make an amazing horse. Right now he needs consistency with a confident knowledgable rider but who knows what he will be able to do in a year or two! He's young enough to give him the time, and he will get more mature every year!

Be part of this boy's future! Give him a chance, give him some training, give him some love! He started in a goat auction, but let him show you how he can be the G.O.A.T.
