Juniper is a super super sweet mare. She came to us pregnant and unhandled, but always with a spark of curiosity and a desire to be a sweet puppy. Juniper came in with three other pregnant mares, and they were all in rough shape. Two weren't even at the rescue for a week before having their babies. Unfortunately, Juniper gave birth to a filly with a structural leg deformity that, despite our best efforts with our amazing vets, she didn't recover from. Though her time was short, she was loved more than ever and little Berry will always be in our hearts. Juniper was then given a few months to recover both physically and mentally until she said she was ready for a job. She went off to training, and absolutely thrived.

Juniper currently has 30 days of training on her from trusted trainer, Dawson Alme of Alma, Wisconsin. She has three wonderful gaits and shows the potential to do just about anything. You can sit her trot for days, but she can also move out too!

Juniper also has lots of trail miles on her already. She prefers to go out in a group, but will go out alone as well.
