Excalibur is an older Arabian gelding that was said to be a camp horse before ending up in the auction cycle. He came to us thin, sick, and covered in fungus, but always sweet and friendly.

He has since ended his quarantine and is back to riding! He absolutely loves trail riding and is the perfect steady-Eddie. He will follow horses in front of him without question, but is also brave enough to lead.

He is a lovely guy and is waiting to find his next person to love on him. His vet appointment to get his teeth floated showed he still has good teeth and is somewhere in his low twenties, with somewhere around 22 being the most probable age, but we don't know for sure as he doesn't have papers.

He has been a total gentleman with grooming, farrier, vet, trailering, tying, and riding. His only requirement in a home is that he should not be with mares. He is fine over the fence with them and respects the fence-line, but he likes to guard one mare from all other horses. He's much happier with his gelding friends. He has being used in lessons while he awaits his home and has been teaching beginner riders about riding as a safe, easy gentleman.
