Arabian Gelding 15 yrs old, 14.2hh

ChiChi came into the rescue as a minimally trained stallion. He was running through an auction with an unhandled mare. Both found their way at Lucky 7 Horse Rescue soon after! They came in skinny, sick, and with a huge worm load. It took months of quarantine and treatment to get them healthy again. Once ChiChi was healthy enough, he went in to our fabulous vets and was gelded. He had never been very stud-like to begin with, but he became much more content as a gelding. He gets along great in his field of geldings and shares a fenceline with mares without issue.

ChiChi has truly blossomed and is becoming a friendly, in-your-pocket gelding. We prioritized getting him healthy, and frenshening up his handling skills so that he can be a good citizen for basic care such as farrier, vet, standing tied, bathing, etc. He has been sat on and worn a saddle, but hasn't been in a focused training program... until now.

ChiChi just completed 30 days of training with Dawson Alme where he was ridden walk, trot, canter and learned all kinds of amazing things! He was reported to have done very well and we will soon have a riding video for him!
