Our Story

Lucky 7 Horse Rescue is a knowledgeable animal rescue organization dedicated to saving and rehabilitating horses in need. Our mission is to prepare horses to be adoptable. We partner with vets, farriers, breeders, horse owners, horse lovers, other rescues to identify horses in need of safety, training, or rehabilitation to be able to find a new home.

Rescue

For any horse that needs a home

We specialize in rescuing horses that are untrained, malnourished, and/or pregnant. We have knowledge and expertise to help these horses in particular.

The BBTC allows us to partner with local trainers to teach horses so they can become adoptable. Check out the results of our 2024 and 2025 competitions!

Adoption

Finding them a home

Our adoption agreement permits the adopter to own the horse as long as a few conditions are met. We offer free lease on select horses as well. Come meet your lucky horse today!

Will you help us?

To do what we do, we need your help! 

There are many ways to help us continue to save horses. Care doesn't stop at getting a horse out of a bad situation. After rescue comes vet bills, farrier work, supplemental feed for weight gain, medications and quarantine costs, and training! Many of the things we do are behind-the-scenes but are so important for the future of these horses!
